Hello all, just making a new rig on this website and looking for some help with it all tbh, not great with computers...

Just a few questions:

1: Is this all compatible with each other?
2: Do you think it's a bit over kill for a just semi-hardcore gaming and general use
3: Processor Cooling, not really happy with the selcetion, could i ask them to put one in of my choice? was thinking the noctua nh-u9dx push pull combo
4: Is the motherboard worth the extra money? It's almost the same as the premium one.
5: 12gb ram too much? maybe 6 is enough?

I'm not great with this sort of thing, any help is more than welcome!

Not sure of your budget but this spec below will be cheaper than what you have above and will play games at max settings, i have only put 4GB Ram in as you are gaming you do not need more but if you wish to future proof you can increase to 8GB but this is only really needed for video/photo editing.

If you want to put the GTX590 back in the spec you will have to increase the PSU to a 750W

Or if you want to leave room for adding a second card for sli configs for future proofing you will need a 1000W PSU for 2 x GTX580 or 1200W PSU for 2 x GTX590

I think this may be more suited to his needs. More RAM, sexier case (IMO ;D), and more than adequate cooling.

If you have that much to spend, then you MUST get an SSD Drive. A lot faster than conventional hard drives and will reduce your boot speeds to around 20 seconds.
Anyway, heres another I put together for you :D

Teaz

Godlike
He doesnt need a K for the cpu especially if he is gona want it to last 3-4years+ down the line. he is better off with the sabertooth mobo and i think he is better off with the normal optical cd drive as the one you provided him doesnt write anything apart from reading or go for the other rom drive.
