I'm totally new to PC gaming, I was wondering if someone with knowledge could help me with building the best gaming PC for £1000 or less.

I'll be playing games such as COD, Crysis ect ect ect..

Thats a good spec. But I would drop the RAM by 4GB and get the Phenom 965, then get a better case.

the first spec is fine although the suggestion from petchi b may be a good idea, you can go either way, both are good options
