It would game the same as yours but would be £165 cheaper. Having said that you wouldn't need some of the stuff in the review build just for gaming (such as the motherboard or unlocked processor).

But you'd struggle to get a 970 build with an SSD for much cheaper than £999 anyway so I'd just go with the review PC. You don't have to actually overclock it, it's just unlocked in case you ever feel like it.

The disadvantages to it are that it only has a 120Gb SSD instead of a 240Gb SSD. Plus is has the standard HDD instead of the cav black. If you want those two then fork out the extra... depends how strict your budget is and how much you need that extra SSD space immediately.

Well it is purely just for gaming so the SSD to me is not a Must expect for operating system. Now the cav black how much faster we talking compared to standard HDD if we are talking a second or two then i don't mind as it will only to used to store games/ moves which i don't mind waiting a few seconds for loading

Just a quick question as I am looking at hard drive specs whats the difference between a black caviar and a normal Hard drive as looking at the specs they seem to be purely identical RPM speed buffer speed and cache memory

The reason I am asking is because as you mention the review system is more or less identical to the one i want get. would i notice much of a speed difference from the review HDD to the black Caviar one

Caviar black is faster, whether you notice the difference is another issue. I believe the standard HDD is a seagate barracuda.

they said they currently have toshiba is that a good drive or not as I don't really hear much about them

I personally go with the caviar black but if you are going with the review section the savings you get compensates for the slower drive

I was thinking of getting the review spec as I save about 165 quid but i can't find anything bad or good about toshiba just that no one really uses them
