Gaming PC and monitor for 13 year old for £1500

Dear experts.
My 13 year old son has saved £1500 over 2 years and would like to buy his first gaming pc AND monitor. He only plays Minecraft, Fortnite and Roblox at the moment.
Could anyone help with a link to suggested spec for a clueless father please!

I have seen some chat about the 3060 card and a 1440 monitor but I take it that would then blow his budget?

Actually, looking again you can get better value by going for an AMD build at the moment. With the extra money you can go for some fast storage for windows and a secondary drive for your games.

Going for a 1440p build plus monitor on a £1500 is quite tight. 1440p monitors start from about £220 with the stronger options coming in around the £280-£300 mark. The 3060 is more of a 1080p card, but will handle 1440p on less demanding games like Roblox and Fortnite. It is also £70 over the 6600, which delivers similar performance at 1080p.

This 1440p monitor paired with the build below will put you £50 over budget, but should handle 1440p gaming with the 3 games mentioned above. It will struggle a little if your son tries some more demanding titles though.
