I'll show my son and see what he thinks.

If any one else has any thoughts please share as a have about a week before I order in time for his birthday.

Many thanks

No thoughts on the build, but if you want it in time for your son's birthday be aware that there are a lot of people experiencing delays in receiving their builds, beyond the 11-13 working day estimate. You might want to factor an extra 4 or 5 working days into the estimated time for delivery.

Keynes build will be better for gaming having a much better graphics card, but If you can push it another £10, I would change the case to the PCS Maelstrom T900 as it has better cooling and is suitable for "Extreme Gaming" as opposed to the Suitability of "Mid-Level Gaming" for the Corsair carbide case, also the front USB ports on the Corsair Carbide wouldn't be active with that build.

Thanks Vanthus, just curious about your comment about the front USB3 ports and the Carbide case?

Thanks

If you click on the link at the bottom of Keynes spec, then proceed, the configurator will tell you the front USB 3 ports wont be active with that motherboard, the said case only has USB 3 ports at the front as far as I can see, but if you change the case to the one I suggested this issue won't arise as the front ports are I believe USB 2.
