Gaming Laptop advice

I've decided I want to buy a custom built gaming laptop as my current laptop is getting old and want to upgrade but have no idea about laptop specs. I really need a laptop that can handle the main games I play, Dragon Age Origins/Awakening, Dragon Age 2 and the Mass Effect trilogy 1,2,3 plus Witcher 2 and Skyrim which I also play occasionally any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That's a decent setup keynes has suggested for the price. If you really want to break the bank, you could chuck in the Arctic MX-4 Extreme thermal paste for £9, bringing the total to £1001

You can find info online regarding mSATA, just a regular SSD but smaller . Its not essential.
