Okay so I’ve ordered the laptop mentioned in the title, you can only configure 2666mhz RAM, this isn’t ideal for a Ryzen 7 4800H so I’ve ordered a separate kit from crucial that runs at 3200mhz without the need for XMP as Renoir doesn’t support this.

Does anyone know for sure this RAM will be compatible (crucial product number: CT2K8G4SFRA32A)?

I feel as if it should be fine as other OEM’s offer this RAM speed but couldn’t get confirmation from PC specialist.

The native RAM speed on that CPU is 3200 so it should work fine so long as the motherboard supports it (can't see why it wouldn't):

On other Ryzen 4000 series laptops people have had success with 3200MHz sticks.
