Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to this community because I’m at my wit's end with an issue that's been plaguing my PC for months now. My disk usage is constantly stuck at 100%, making everything from booting up to opening a browser feel like an eternity.

I’m reaching out to this community because I’m at my wit's end with an issue that's been plaguing my PC for months now. My disk usage is constantly stuck at 100%, making everything from booting up to opening a browser feel like an eternity.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Disabling unnecessary startup programs.
- Adjusting virtual memory settings.
- Disabling services like Superfetch and Windows Search.
- Running multiple malware scans.
- Updating drivers and Windows itself.
I’ve started wondering if the root cause is my HDD. It’s an older drive, and I’m considering upgrading to an SSD. Before I make the switch, I wanted to hear from you all:
- Has anyone experienced similar issues that were resolved by upgrading to an SSD?
- Could there be any other solutions I haven’t tried yet?
- If I do switch to an SSD, any tips on choosing one and migrating data would be greatly appreciated.
I've attached my system to this threat.
