Front USB Port not working on NEW PCS build. On Corsair 500d SE Case

Hi,

Before I email PCS , I was wondering if anyone has any quick advice on what to check with a non functioning USB port on my recent PCS build.

The motherboard is an ASUS X570-F
The case is a Corsair 500D se
The cooler is a Corsair H115i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Hydro

If I put a USB device (doesn't matter what device), into the left USB port on the left, everything works fine.. Move it to the right port (I've coloured that purple) and nothing is detected... Move it back, all is good again.
Its taken me a while to notice, as I've not had to use both front ports till the weekend.

I'm sure PCS will get back to me (after a day or so) once I reach out, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue with this case and can point me in the right direction?

And before anyone suggests it, yes I can use the rear ports, but they are hard to get to!

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

A quick look at the manual suggests that those are USB3.0 ports and use the one header. The only thing I can think of is that something has came loose in transit. It's entirely possible that the header has moved slightly and only 1 port is being grounded/working.

Could you have a look inside the case at the USB header on the motherboard and just make sure it's plugged in correctly?

Thanks, I'll try and dig around and find a manual for the case and the MB and see what should go where. When I get home.
