FN not working great + backlit keyboard

The backlit keyboard is new to me and very handy when its dark BUT it seems to be ALWAYS on...? This is a super battery drain isnt it? I read through the manual on how to turn it off and there is a switch by holding the FN key and pressing the * above the numlock pad numbers.

The thing is the FN works perfectly on all other function keys EXCEPT the ones near the numlock pad keys (right side of keyboard). The FN and / button is suppose to bring up the control panel for power settings, finger print stuff I think and definitely the backlit keyboard options (change colour, turn off etc) but this key also does not work. Same with increasing or decreasing the brightness of the backlit keyboard FN - and FN +.

I thought maybe they forgot to install the drivers and put the drivers CD in and anything i try to do when the drivers application opens gives me the error:

WRONG OS

I got the wrong driver disc for the wrong operating system?

Anyone know a website where i can find drivers or how i can configure / turn off backlit keyboard? Its draining battery super fast .

If you log into your PCS account their is a driver download section their. I get the option of both 7 and 8.1 drivers, so worth a look.

Just log in, somewhere on the let hand column is the 'tech support' bit, bottom of that section it says 'download' - in that bit.

AH! I never knew this! Wow thats excellent! PCS is totally on the ball...! Do you have any idea which driver is for the FN keys?

I imagine it would be one driver for the entire keyboard :)

Nathan, seriously? You never knew that... 1500 posts... You surely haven't been reading my posts I mention it about 4-5 times per week... I am truly disappointed!

Obviously they're on the ball, its PCS we talking about here. Glad its working.
