First time buyer, could use some advice!

Hey guys, so I've never bought a laptop before (my current was gifted to me 5 years ago for ~£300) and I was wondering if this would be a good place to start? I mainly want it to play WoW, as well as Skyrim, the Total War games and maybe some others. Thanks in advance :)

Looks decent for those games at that price level. :)
Depending on your budget you could consider an SSD to make the OS and games load faster.

If you don't need a laptop, you can probably get a desktop that will significantly outperform it for the same price.
If you do need a laptop but aren't in a terrible hurry to get one, you might want to hold off a couple of months. Some powerful new GPUs have just been launched for desktops and its anticipated that a mobile form of them will be released soon. This would likely either mean you could get something significantly more powerful, or get something like the above for less cash as the older gen's prices (presumably) get squashed down.
