Hey everyone, Been trying for days to get a spec I'm happy with for under £650. Would this be okay as a beginner into PC gaming? (Mainly a console gamer). Will be playing a lot of different games including Skyrim.
Should I pick a better Graphics Card (Was thinking 6870 or GTX 560 instead) or would that be okay?
Also is 450 watt PSU enough for now?

Bright Spark
For gaming the GPU is pretty much the most important item in a computer. The HD 6870 is generally a bit better than the GTX 560 (and a bit cheaper) so I wouldn't suggest the GTX 560 for that reason. If you can afford the extra £13 then the HD 6870 is a particularly good card for the price so worth getting over the HD 6850.

A 450W PSU should be fine. The only reason for getting more would be to fit a second GPU at a later stage. However to be honest with the way prices drop over time, you would probably be better simply getting a replacement card in the future than trying to add a second GPU (which would need to be the same as the first).

Looks excellent, however I would recommend going for 8GB of RAM. Technically you don't NEED over 4GB, however future game swill certainly begin to utilise more than 2GB at any one time. The upgrade from 4GB to 8GB will only set you bacn an extra £18.

Yeah I was thinking about choosing 8GB instead, I probably will end up doing that, But I'd be happy enough with 4GB if not :)
