My last three PC's have all been from Dell and I have been quite happy with their service.

However to customise a machine as much as you can with PCS was very tempting, I hope I have made the right choice and the machine works when it arrives....

I wouldn't worry, everything will work fine and if there are any issues (niggles / problems etc.) PCS customer support is excellent and will help you out :) (Also, the message boards are full of knowledgeable folk who will help if they can!)

Use is mainly Photoshop and Lightroom with some possible limited gaming if my son gets access......

32G of RAM because I had the opportunity at the time of purchase and thought this would keep me going longer before an upgrade.

Two SSD because I store many years worth of data (independent Weather station on line every day, for the last 13 years)which I have lost in the past due to HDD problems, my existing PC has RAID 1 which has saved my bacon on more than one occasion, mind you the PC is six years old now (i think). I am paranoid about backing up so I also now have a NAS drive and external HDD for company....In addition in my research of SSDs I have read reports of HDD failing with no warning (unlike a HDD where you do sometimes get a warning).

Hope this makes sense from a 52 yr old non PC techie....

Martyn;-)
