Bascially im a Uni student studying 3D animation, need a high spec pc that can handle Maya /Nukex / Zbrush, but also to do the occasional gaming therapy

After countless hours of tweaking ive finally decided on a spec that best suits my needs/budget

Budget = £1600 give or take £50, that also has to get a monitor.

Im sure I can save you a few on that build, just gonna have a quick dabble with the config

Edit:
You don't particularly need the 'k' model i7 2600 unless you're overclocking it.
I don't think you'll fully need 16GB of RAM on there but leave it be just incase you do push the pc in 3D animation.
Don't particularly need the Coolit ECO A.L.C, the Tri-Copper is more than sufficient for your spec.

I will second the above advice and spec from amyandsteve and also i would drop the Norton AV either try Bullguard or one of the free AV's out there.

Well I did um and ah about norton (as it's pretty resource hungry) but i thought not many people go out of their way to select an av on here, so he must've had a reason to. Either way, still back you up with that, I use bullguard and its great, never know it's there tbh
