Well im finally ready to order after about 2 months of building and rebuilding, tbh im very happy i waited since more components are available. Anyway I just wanted to know what you all think and if you can suggest any better build for around the same price (around £1300). Overall I really want a decent laptop that is good value for money hence no SSD.
I'm planning to use this laptop to take to uni every day and to run software like autocad and maybe a little flight simulator if I get time. I also use ftp quite allot so I would prefer a decent network card.

And i know its early days but i was wondering if anyone has a laptop with the amd 6970 gpu, if so have there been any problems? I know theres a bit of a mess going on with this card causing fatal problems but what do you guys think pcs will do if I order this spec and theres a problem and they remove this gpu, will I get a new laptop with the gtx 460 and some money back or will I be able to completely change the spec to match the cost?
