Feel my pain lol

hey all, as some of you know I recently bought a new monitor and a stand for the outer 2 I have to make a triple monitor setup based on 1 strand. so it was around 8pm last night I unboxed my new monitor and stand and started to put them together, once the stand was built I started to mount my monitors to the stand, everything was going great until one of the monitors was lower than the other two I couldn't for the life of me get them all level, also the monitor stands photos online are very deceiving and the angle of adjustment for swivel was ridiculous. anyway long story short I started to unscrew one of the monitors and the screw pinged out of my hand, the stand and two monitors crashed onto my desk and then behind it into my wall, right onto my subwoofer and desktop tower. so in the end I now have a large scrath on my desk, subwoofer, an array of marks and holes in my wall, and a monitor that wont turn on / is scratched to pieces and has a screw from the bracket snapped off in it...... so know I have to go and buy another new monitor and 3 new monitor stands, never again will I buy from "insert company" also the other two monitors that were on the stand seem ok, minor scratches / scrapes - still not as they were tho.

here are some pics - they look better than in reality....

For some reason (probably slow internet offshore) the pics won't load for me, I doubt anyone else will have issues with them though.

However... OUCH! Oh dear, mate that sounds crap. Might mean its a two person job next time?

Hope you get everything sorted though. Not really sure what else I can say... the monitor that wont turn on, is it scratched on the screen (because if not it might be salvageable?)?

called them up they said they would pay out on the monitor and stand but I have an excess of £250 so I am not getting much .....

If there's not much to gain from claiming then don't. It'll only mean you'll have something to declare when you come to renew next year. Not worth it imo if you're not getting much. Sucks I know but better to feel the pain now and get it over with quickly than it follow you for a while (think its 3-5 years for house insurance they ask for?).

But that's just me :)
