Fan boot-up issue

Hi guys, would really appreciate some help on this issue as im quite worried. Basically I have had this rig for just over 1 month now and it runs superbly. Fyi i haven't tampered at all with it. I've got an issue when i boot-up with the gpu fan, it is like the exhaust is running at a 100% rpm rate and no display will show on my moniter. A gaurantee fix i've found for this is taking out the hdmi cable a couple times and re-inserting it in then pressing the restart button on my case. I'm anxious that this is a sign that my gpu is dying (ALREADY)!?

Specs:
i5-3570 3.4ghz
gtx 660 ti 2gb gddr5
Asus P8Z77-V LX
8gb ddr3 1600 mhz

and if it helps the case is black gaming in win mana 136 or something like that.

If it keeps happening, phone PCS and they will help you get to the bottom of this. Hopefully the new cable will sort it out...let us know.

Hi guys, so I have tried another (very expensive may I add) HDMI cable... No luck, the situation is worse now as well. The computer will post but there no is luck of stopping the GPU exhuast rate which seems to be at 100% and there is no way of getting any display to the screen.. Frankly I think the card of only 1 month is fried... This is outrageous, I hope PCS will sort this for me somehow. Will give them a call tomorrow, thank you for both your contributions to my situation. Greatly appreciated.

You could try a clean install or update of the graphics driver, failing that it could well be a faulty card, but these things happen and can happen at any time whether the card is new or not.I'm sure PCS will sort it out for you,but can't really be blamed for faulty components to be fair.

First time it happened I was able to fix the issue by restarting and then I made sure the drivers were up to date, which they were. So I think it's a hardware fault, obviously can't be helped by PCS and as you say these things do happen I'm afraid.

Even if you have the latest drivers a clean install can sometimes fix the issue,so maybe worth a try.

Have you checked the fan settings in the graphics driver utility? It sounds like they may be set to manual 100%, rather than just speeding up as your GPU gets hotter.
