Failing AIO, recommendations for new cooler?

Around two years ago I bought a PC from PC Specialist and this awful sound has just randomly appeared from no where. It sounds like it's coming from the side of the PC, I can't upload a video unfortunately.
Much appreciated

We'll need a video if possible, if it's too large for the forum, you can upload it to youtube or cloud storage and post a link

Can you post your full specs from the order page as well?

Sounds like either a pump failure (which is the part you tapped) or a fan that's blocked, probably the former. My first thought is to think the cooler needs replacing.

Damn, I thought that but I was hoping it wasnt lmao. Thank you :)

Yeah I think the fan too. The only other noise that comes close would be if a cable is touching off a fan as the fan spins. But that sound is a different tone from what is on your video. You seeing any increase in cpu temps?

Currently idle it's sitting at 31, that's using the AMD Software to monitor it

Reasonable temp. The pump may be capable of circulating the coolant still, but it's just making a racket. Looks like the pump gets it power from a fan header, see if you can trace the cable from the pump to the motherboard and disconnect it. It will be fine to run it without the pump of a couple of mins at idle, but if the noise disappears when it's disconnected, you've confirmed the pump as being the source.

If it is the pump, you can put in an RMA to get it replace, but personally I'd suggest paying the additional to upgrade it to an H80i which would be far better. Those coolers ended up having a little bit of a reputation

I can feel the coolant still being pumped through the tubing but I'll try what you just mentioned

Is it a possibility it's trapped air, I've seen a few videos and they sound very similar to the noise inside my pump

Can you upload a photo of the cooler and the radiator, so just a view of the inside layout?

Images need to be under 1MB in size to upload

Sure

Should my PC be turned off for this?

Does the sound occur as soon as PC is switched on? E.g. before it even loads Windows? If so, you can power off PC, disconnect cable, then turn it on. As soon as you confirm noise is not present, kill the power and reconnect. But even if you did it when under power, it won't cause a problem, the CPU won't overheat in just a few mins at idle.

Yeah it's definitely the pump, I disconnected it and the noise has gone
