External Noise damping suggestions

My new PC is very noisy when hard disks are working. They are placed near the bottom of the case and when AV or Windows working them the noise is very intrusive. I cannot find smaller accoustic mats only large rolls.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You can get acoustic matting to line your PC with, it often comes on a roll to cut to size. You can also get HDD mounts which use rubber spacers to absorb the vibrations and enclosures to dull down the sound. I have used the former and it worked quite well. I can't find the exact one I had but you could try things like these:

Thanks - will look at these. also looking for a mat of some sort to stand the PC on and insulate it a bit from the desk to absorb vibration which is bad as disks are at bottom of case
