This last one has some pre-alpha gameplay...

I registered as a 'founder' and have had some updates over the last 6 months or so, but didn't have to pay or commit to anything to do so.

From the actual gameplay I've seen, it looks like Mass Effect meets Halo...but we'll see!

The developer is Archetype Entertainment, who are a subsidiary of Wizards of the Coast.

I was going to say, both the ship and the universe appears extremely reminiscent of Mass Effect.

Is is the same developers then?

Well, some of the old BioWare staff are now at Archetype, but don't seem to have been head-hunted/poached, as most have had a couple of years away from BioWare, so hopefully they haven't just bought over a drive full of assets too

Just realised that the game is based in the same universe as the latest novel by one of my favourite authors (Peter F Hamilton)...or the novel is based on the game
