DVD RW Drive Not Ripping

Hi all,i am having difficulty with the disc drive. For some reason it will not rip discs using a program called Ripstation Micro. Whenever I load a sic I get this error coming up which looks like its a hardware/driver issue

Drive.cpp(452) : Failed to load the disc
Drive.cpp(2040) : Windows has exceeded the timeout for recognizing the disc

Anyone know of these errors? Google throws nothing up

Have you tried ripping with another program, such as nero etc.

I have tried with media monkey and it doesn't recognise the disc when trying to rip, although it will playback on all software i try.

If on the off chance you have the 24x DVD-RW (iHAS124-B)
there is information here from misterdave, if you are having problems with said drive.
