Dvd Drive

Just had my 2nd DVD Drive die on me in the space of 2 month my system only 5 month old and i spent £1200 on it so im not best pleased as you mite imagin barely use the drive for anything i have a separate dvd/cd drive for burning etc so god knows whats up

Unfortunately,it's not that uncommon to get a dodgy optical drive,so just try a new one,not ideal, i know.

This is true. There are a lot of components in your PC.

You will be glad to know that you have only had trouble with around £20 worth of the £1200 system.

True gorman but i dont want to be replacing the drive every 2 month lol

I understand, it shouldnt happen and it probably wont again, all we can do is get it sorted as soon as possible.

Do try to stop using those dvd's made out of rocks though.
