DVD Drive not working...

I dont know why but it always worked before, When I put a dvd in to watch nothing pops up and it's not showing up on the explorer either :/ any suggestions?

Check its plugged in... I know it's a noob suggestion...

I knew someone would suggest it so I did it it was so securely plugged in I struggled unplugging it.... haha but I think all I needed was a computer restart, so weird how it randomly stops working though :L
