Hi
I bought a computer off you July last year.
Had no real problems untill yesterday.
I tried to install duke nukem and my dvd drive won't read the disc. I've tried numerous other discs and dvd's and it won't read any of them.
The drive is a optiarc ad-7260s. I've searced for updated drivers but windows says the ones I am using are the latest.
I also tried new firmware which installed fine but still no luck with the drive reading anything.
Windows shows the drive being there etc.
Pretty strange as the last game I installed (crysis 2) installed fine and now all of a sudden nothing works.
I downloaded and ran nero info tool and as you can see all seems fine.

Appreciate an help you can give me, as atm I'm installing Duke Nuke from my other computers dvd drive via network and its painfully slow.
Thanks

Also noticed when I put a disc in the drive there dosen't seem to be any sound when I can normally hear the drive chunering away. Also no light comes on to show it working away.

Tried unplugging the cable and plugging it back in? Also, try a different power cable from the PSU.

Unrelated: It's the Duke... not surprised about the karma too =P
