Don't want a drive with my laptop.

I'm thinking of buying a laptop (Optimus V 13.3") but doesn't want a drive and I already have Windows 8.1. I can deselect the Windows software off the list but I can't with the drive. It says it needs one.

What do I have to do?

I don't want to order a drive with it because I'm thinking of putting in my own SSD that I have from my old laptop. Basically don't want to waste my money on another drive I won't use because the SSD in my laptop is also an upgrade, meaning the original HDD before it can still be put back in if I ever decide to sell it. Do I have to send my SSD to PCS to get it fitted? If so then how is the process, postage, insurance (if any)?

Also, is it even possible to put my own drive in the machine? It's a Samsung EVO 840 250GB which I think is compatible seeing other Samsung EVOs in the configuration list. And how is the RAM? Can I upgrade the RAM if I ever decide to do so?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

You have to order a drive unfortunately because of warranty reasons, they wouldn't be able to warranty the machine with a part that wasn't put in by them.

Just order the cheapest one, or a decent wd black that you could use as a secondary drive.
