Why would you ever need more than 1600mhz that will be more than fine and so would the 1333mhz ram

Because I want the better memory module! One that self cools and is super dooper fast! One I get to show off with! One I get to feel smug about whenever I look at someone else's Kingston Hyper-X Genesis!

As long as the RAM does it's job does it really matter?
I'm sure the vast majority of people wouldn't really care that you managed to get super-duper uber cooling RAM (though whether you can or not for laptops I don't actually know) :)

If your buying a computer to show off and not because its functionality suits what you need then your a douche with too much money.

You should research into what computer parts are compatible with other types of hardware and what aren't before you even think about showing off what you can buy with your money.

If you were to invest in something like a 480GB 3.5" SSD for your Vortex II then I'd probably end up rolling on the floor laughing.

You're just laughing because you can't afford to buy such a huge SSD. :santa: Okies, gonna get one now and show it off on my new Vortex II laptop!

Well feel free to go buy something that isn't really needed.
Your choice after all.
I'm fairly sure rather than the response about it being 'wow, thats a big fast hard drive' it would more likely be 'wow, he has a lot more money than sense ' though :)
