DisplayPort Motherboard

Hi,

Does DisplayPort comes as standard on all motherboards for PCS desktop builds?
It doesn't seem to mention it in the info sections for each motherboard.

Usually the motherboard graphics output is dvi and vga, not display port.

What is it for?

I'm looking at a new PCS desktop build. I have an existing 1440p monitor and understand DisplayPort is the best option for this resolution.

Usually graphics are output by dedicated graphics card which all have dp. Are you intending to configure one without a graphics card?

Ahh ok, didn't realise the graphic card itself would have the dp.
Yes, intending to go with 1070 or 1080, presumably they will both have it?
