Disk activity lights

One quick question...

The Disk activity light seems to be very active on my new PC with no additional programs running, I would estimate one or two flashes per second.

Is this normal and would it contribute to read-writes of the SSDs?

Thanks

personally I wouldnt worry about it, I think its normal.

I wouldnt think it would do an harm to the ssd in the short or long run.

Activity on the SSD doesn't necessarily equate to read/write cycles :) As Tom and Vanthus said above, its not going to cause you any issues.
