Digital cable for Samsung Syncmaster SA450 24" monitor?

I bought a PC 5 months ago (order number 541150) the Samsung Syncmaster SA450 24" monitor came with an Analog cable with a digital adapter.

Do I need a digital cable for it?

The VGA analog cable will work,but if your monitor and graphics card have DVI ports a DVI-D cable would be better.
