Actually I'm not going to bother with PCSpecialist anymore because first I get told everyone gets treated the same and then you see posts like this!

if it wasnt for those troops you would be speaking german right now and you would be under a nazi regime, you should be thanking them, and im glad PCS have offered discounts for those on the front line

VAT exemption is done by the government (or at least they're involved somehow I think), business's get it for business use equipment, military personal I guess get it too, but us normally people living in UK and buying for personal use do not get a VAT exemption at all whether we are working, a student or whatever.
Legally I cannot get something VAT exempt if it's for me, being a student doesn't qualify you either.

I'm a little confused, I'm guessing you had a problem with students not getting VAT exemption, but now that the issue has been clarrified (They don't get VAT Exempt) your going to stay or were you just being sarcastic?

Well either way, bad times, its a shame, otherwise, glad you've decided to stay :)

I think it was more the fact that he thought other people could get discounts whereas he couldn't.

If I went through life getting annoyed with everyone who didn't give me a discount I've be a very annoyed person :):)
