Defiance XS II Liquid Metal Capable?

Hello there,

I got myself a Defiance XS II with GTX 1070 MaxQ (Clevo P950ER). After almost a year usage, I found that the laptop run hotter recently. The CPU reached around 95 under loads, the GPU is fine and experienced shutdown unexpectedly once last week. I was thinking should I do a repaste on the CPU, might be applying liquid metal to get the best performance on it. The question is, should I get liquid metal or a good thermal paste, I got this laptop from PCSpecialist installed with CoolerMaster ThermalMaker.

Hi,

I was just wondering if you ever did this as I also have a Defiance XS II with thermal issues. I did message the support team and they said the cooler is made of copper so it is possible, I just haven't got up the courage yet.
