First off, I have had two gaming laptops prior to this, one MSI and one Alienware. The MSI is still working great and I have given it to my wife, the Alienware was always temperamental but is still usable after 7 years. I do however like to upgrade every 3-4 years so that I can play new games, which is why I made this purchase. I have used the PC Specialist calculator for years to make my 'dream laptop' but then always bought from another company, however with the new GeForce graphics card being released I felt it was time to give them a shot...
Good news is that after taking the plunge and ordering I'm really happy with the laptop. The build quality seems great and the performance is amazing as expected. I'm playing Witcher III on Ultra and haven't noticed any lag so far and have had zero issues. Even playing Witcher III for a few hours the machine stays cool and the performance never dips. In comparison to my previous laptops my opinion at the moment is that it mixes the best of both machines, with the build quality (case) and looks of the Alienware, with the reliability of the MSI; my Alienware had cooling issues which I never totally solved. I have been a long term lurker of PCSpecialist, often using their parts calculator but then ordering from another company as I wasn't sure about them. It's early days but first impressions are really good.

The laptop both looks amazing but also understated; it wouldn't look that odd being used on a train.
Cons
From order to delivery took 22 days due to parts being out of stock. When I queried the delay with customer service they were however really quick in responding and helpful.
Bit of a fingerprint magnet!

Overall I would highly recommend PCSpecialist and if the laptop lasts the 3+ years my other laptops have lasted then I will definitely be buying my next one from them.
