Defiance III 3k display

Hi
i have few questions about this display.
1) G sync ?
2) is it good in gaming (im gonna pair it with the 1070) ?
3) How it looks on lower resolutions in gaming like 1080p is the upscaling so notable?

1) No. If you try to order it you'll get the message:

1. The display panel that you have selected will not work with G-Sync.
   
   If you require G-Sync functionality please amend your panel to a non 3K/4K option.

2) You'll probably need to turn the settings down a bit at 3k if you want 60 fps

3) That's probably a question of taste. 4k screens apparently scale down to 1080p reasonably well, but that might not be surprising given that 4k is 2x up and 2x across 1080p. 3k isn't and probably won't look as good. I haven't seen it in the flesh so can't give an opinion on whether it looks fine nevertheless.
