Defiance graphics card

I read in the forums that the defiance's graphics card cannot be replaced once it is in the laptop, and I am currently getting the gtx 970m but was wondering if it is worth upgrading to the 980. Anyone who knows roughly how long each will last before they stop running games could you please help becuase the price goes up significantly when I add the 980. Thanks for any answers.

difficult to tell you how long they will last, it depends on game settings, future game requirements, etc.... If you can afford the gtx 980m I would go for it.
