Defiance graphics card replacement

I was just wondering if it's true that you can't replace the defiance's graphics card once it's in the computer, and if so is their any way I can replace it if it's faulty. And if this is true then is it worth it to downgrade to a gtx 960m graphics card on a Optimus and be able to replace it, rather than have a gtx 970m and have to keep with it even if it breaks. Thanks for any answers.

You can't replace it on an Optimus chassis either. If you are concerned about a faulty gpu I would get gold warranty that cover parts for 2 years.
