Deferred payment ?

Sorry to ask this here but I'm trying to avoid long wait times on the phone.

For people who have ordered their PC's on finance, what was their average date for the first payment ?

Only, my PC was dispatched yesterday, haven't received it yet obviously, but I've got through the details from Hitachi Finance, and it's telling me the first payment due date is November 2021. It also has deferred written in relation to that too. I was expecting the first due payment to be the start of the month following receiving the PC, so February/March.

Anyone else have experience with PCS and finance and can tell me if this is normal?

Is there a period where you don't have to make the payments straight away ?

Edit: To add, my original order date was November 2020, so is there a year grace period?

It’s 12 months deferred payment, but you can still make voluntary payments in that time as you like. You’ll get an online portal where you can make whatever payment you like at any time.
