Hi,

Wanted to ask, to fix a dead pixel does the whole screen need to be replaced?
Is this difficult to do?

It depends Harun. I am having the same issue and am awaiting collection today to have mine replaced. There is a small chance you can fix it yourself but Im not gonna say anything other than Google it as I don't think the methods would be agreeable on your warranty? :D

Try changing the colour of your background , is the pixel white/black? Is it a definite colour? The white black ones tend to be dead as a dodo.

Hey Rickne,

Yh I rang up PCS last friday for RMA and they accepted it, picked it up on monday and I got a notification saying RMA received yesterday morning. Just wondering how long this sorta stuff takes. It was one small pixel but annoyed the hell out of me because I knew it was there lol. I got the Pixel guarentee for 1 year so thought mayaswel use it. Can't do anymore harm (touch wood).

Was hoping to get before weekend but chances look slim.

Edit: I its black on screen and white on a black background. I used software like undead pixel and crystal ball but to no avail.

Mine is collected this afternoon. Provided the screens are in stock it shouldn't take long as its a straight swap and test, but I don't expect it back for at least a week.

just an update, they fixed the screen pretty damn fast, it got collected on monday and is being returned fixed today. I was expecting atleast next monday. Now I will have it for whole weekend! So Happy :-D
