Current PCS System To Old To Upgrade To Win 11......Spec Suggestions Please

As the title says, I need to update my 2011 PCS System to a modern equivalent due to Win 10 updates finishing shortly as well as my old rig is certainly starting to show its age.....
So my I(my family) need 6th PCS tower PC.........lol......
I want a modern day powerful general purpose family PC that will hopefully last 14 years like the last one, with lots of media storage etc, Gaming is not that important as I only occasionally play Strategy style games including heavily modified Total War games but media playback and storage is(4k etc) my single monitor is currently 1440p(will get a 4k monitor one day) and my connected TV is a 4K OLED

I know nothing of modern tech so please advise
Intel or AMD? Nvidia or Radeon blablabla etc
onboard GFX or dedication card(I currently have an old 1660gtx etc

no real budget limit btw 1500-2500 max not including monitor

May be worth holding out till at least the end of the month. I don't think you're going to get a 1440p performance rig for £2k but £2.5k gets you right in the wheel house.

At the end of the month the next generation cards are coming out. For your uses I would want a 5070 Tier card in place, at the moment that's the 4070.

Below is top tier. The case selections were very slim so I just picked a decent one. Hopefully more will be available also at the end of the month.
