Went to boot it up and received an error beep and then a CPU Fan Error message. It won’t let me progress past the BIOS now.

Please could you recommend troubleshooting steps, thank you 🙂

Allo allo allo, hope the job's going ok?

You've got the Elite Capellix which comes with the commander core

This has 2 sides to it, one for fan inputs and one for RGB inputs. Check all those are connected properly.

There should also be a power line running from the commander core to the PSU to a SATA power connector, make sure that's inserted both to the SATA power end, and the line back to the PSU is correctly inserted.
There should also be a small USB header from the commander core onto a USB header on the board, check that's inserted ok

Then trace the pump line that traces onto the motherboard, either on the CPU_FAN header, or the AIO_PUMP header. Make sure that's inserted correctly

Have you updated the BIOS at all recently?

Thank you both! Quick reply as I’ve been out, still getting to grips with having a job and also somehow a social life too (allegedly) 😅
what was the beep code
One long beep followed by 4 short beeps, will try and dig manual out of the attic tomorrow.

Thanks for this, will get stuck into it tomorrow after work.

I haven’t done updated the BIOS myself, whether it’s updated itself periodically is another question.

Appreciate the excellent advice as always, keep up the good work!

Controller looks in order, can’t see anything out of place.
Back on the BIOS screen temps are fine, around 40 degrees but the case fans are going at full chat which is significant as they’re normally barely noticeable.
Also not getting any RNG on boot with the cooler, and I don’t have iCue installed at the moment so not sure if that’s significant or if it suggests the controller is the issue here?
I seem to be creating more questions than answers, I’m much better at knowing what components work well together than diagnosing and fixing problems 😂

Are those USB cables at the bottom of the photo being compromised when the side panel is on, as that's something that happened on mine when I had the very narrow 220T case?

It's because the controller is upside down ;)

That did cross my mind, but I trust the PCS Build Team a lot more than I trust myself!

I don’t think so, I tried some boots with the side panels removed to see how that affected noise levels, and didn’t see any noticeable difference

I would install icue as it will tell you pump speeds and if everything is being registered correctly.
