Cosmos with quad core and 950m or optimus with dual core and 960m (saving £90)?

Ideally i'm looking to spend around £700 on a gaming laptop. So the optimus would be the better option, would the better processor on the cosmos be very noticeable?

The only noticable difference would be running gtx 950m instead of 960m

However you should be aware the Intel Skylake processors are coming out next month for desktops with laptops soon after, intel skylake CPUs are going to have new integrated gpu ''Iris pro'' which is performance-wise somewhere slightly below gt 940m, which could be quite a big deal considering directx12 is going to utilize igpu with your main gpu. Not sure if this applies to laptops aswell, but I have no reason to doubt it. The processor is going to have lesser power consumption resulting in longer battery life and probably lower temperatures too, which could mean less fan noise.

I was going to get myself Optimus VI too, but I decided to wait few more months for the skylake laptops. Whether clevo, or other laptop brand.

Waiting and waiting again, sounds reasonable, but for UK waiting is horrible because it usually laggs in terms of top performance laptops

Or they come out unreasonably expensive ((

But you can get Optimus VI with Iris Pro, though it sets the price of laptop to 1000 instantly, so I was right about the price. Answered my own question - it is not Skylake processor. Interesting point, will stay tuned to news about Skylake
