Hi,
I have owned this laptop since February 2014 so it's out of warranty.
I'm very pleased with it except that the power button has always been a bit flaky. Lately it has become worse and it is becoming very difficult to turn the PC on. If it gets any worse it will render the PC unusable. Also, it looks as though the button is retreating into the case.
If I were to remove the back of the PC, is it likely that I could adjust the position of the button and service the switch without risking damage to other components? I would prefer not to send it back to PCS for such a trivial fault.
