Hello all,
Looking to get some cooling sorted for the long gaming sessions as the left hand side seems to get fairly warm. As far as I can see we have a vent on the left hand side which expels hot air, and vents on the bottom left hand side which I assume takes in air. My question is would a DIY solution involving two case fans one drawing air away from the hot air vent the other blowing cold air towards the inlet bet a better option than an off the shelf cooler which just blows air at the bottom of the laptop?
I've got a few 12v chargers and plenty of case fans left around so putting a DIY one together shouldn't be a problem, however if it is going to be less efficient then I won't bother as I know laptop coolers go pretty cheap.
All the best.
Speedfan temps when just surfing is running in background:
GPU: 58C
HDD: 37C
Temp1: 66C
Cores: All around 40 mid 40s.
That Temp1 always seems to be around the 60s even when just looking on the internet.
