I updated to Windows 11 the other week, and started seeing a few BSOD problems. These BSOD would flash for half a second so I wouldn't be able to directly tell what the problem was. Eventually, it happened every 30 seconds, and I couldn't boot in at all. I was advised by Discord and PCS to do a full windows install, via the USB. I went with Windows 10 just in case it was 11 that was invoking the problems; however, though they appear less, they still continue to appear. The first appeared when I tried to format the D drive, since it wasn't showing up, and I kept on having to try and do so until it worked. The second was when I tried to install a game on Steam, then the third was when I tried to install Windows Updates - it kept getting to 86% then wasn't able to update, however eventually it worked...

The BSOD screens didn't appear the first time, but on the second the repeated problem is WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERNORR

But, now I don't know what the trigger is, so I tried to do minidump analysis before seeing the more detailed post in this forum itself. The recurring problem, from my untrained eyes, refers to "Authentic AMD", so not sure if that's an issue. Here are the files:

drivers-Asssasin.txt - Driver List
EVENT FILES - Assasin.zip - Event Log Files
msinfo - Assassin.txt - System Info
DMP - Assasin.zip - the latest memory dump files from today
Other DMP files (from yesterday) that have 0326 from the start

Thanks

I've done that with not much results unfortunately - each time I restart the computer for example the same BSOD comes up

Just to say, now, it reverted back to the old problem and Windows has been completely wiped off without anything (having to use my old deskto)

The instructions were followed directly from PCS; here:

How to Reinstall Windows 10 - USB Windows Media Creation Tool Method

Please follow the link found here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

  1. Select the Download tool now

  1. Please run the media creation tool that has been downloaded

  1. A box should appear displaying Getting things ready wait for the terms of service to load and press ACCEPT

  1. Please select Create installation media for another pc and then press NEXT

  1. On the next screen please select the UK, edition Windows 10 and Architecture X64 Bit.

  1. Lastly, select USB Flash drive and click Next

  1. From the final list select your USB drive and then Next again, this should install a copy of windows on to your USB drive.

Once USB has been created follow these instructions. This will wipe all information on the C drive

1. Insert windows 10 USB

2. Power on the computer and continuously press F7/F8 or F12 for Gigabyte key for boot menu

3. Select UEFI – USB from menu (The USB drive name will likely include the brand)

4. Once in windows setup, select language and time zones and skip entering any product keys

5. Please follow the steps until you reach the upgrade or custom installation page

6. Select Custom

7. From the list please locate your main SSD/HDD

This will be the drive containing a partition called "Windows", once identified delete all the partitions for this drive

8. Highlight this drive (unallocated space) and select Next

9. Windows will be installed

Kind Regards

It definitely sounds like it's related to the OC.

Did you set the BIOS to default settings? This will remove any OC timing from the RAM etc as well as removing the CPU OC.
