Review~

I bought a pc from PCS a couple of years ago, I only had 2 problems with the pc as it came. The first thing was, when it went on sleep mode, the pc would mess up, I don't remember what happened, it was a really long time ago, but when I called PCS, I was told it was from windows vista, and I had to take the battery out the motherboard and put it back in. That kept happening untill I disabled sleep/standby mode.
Second thing was blue screen, I was told it was the RAM, i was sent a brand new set of RAM, which didn't solve the problem. At the end I just used 2 sticks of RAM instead of 4, then added another. So the pc worked on 3, but not 4. They kept trying to help, but after about 10-15 calls and chase ups, I was gave up on the trouble, it was too much hassle. Ofcourse If kept going they would have most likely fixed it.

Which is why I came back here and ordered another PC, knowing they would do anything to help. I ordered this PC, with a Mouse and a Headset. I know sometimes companies delay the order because of minor items. So I called and asked if everything was in stock. I was told the mouse and headset were not. So I asked them dispatch the order without the 2. After a day I thought let me return the mouse and headset, and ask for some discount for a 3rd monitor. I asked on the live chat online, the person said it was ok, and I needed to amend the order. I tried to amend the order for what is being returned and what I want to replace with. Of course it doesn't allow me because it asks for the extra payment. After a couple of messages and I was told to amend the headset and mouse. So I did, then I asked if they can add the monitor. I got a phone call later trying to confirm what is going on and what do I need to be done. After a few things, the end result was, I was refunded the money for the headset and mouse, which I didn't ask for. I didn't get the discount I was promised. Very disappointed. After all that, I was messing around the website, and I noticed my HDD dropped in price by £20. At this point, I'm like after all this and spending over 3k on a PC, £20 is nothing, never mind I don't want to go through all the trouble.

Hopefully I'll get the PC on Tuesday and everything is perfect! Fingers crossed.

:O Amazing dude! By the way, vista literally blue screens my laptop for for no reason. The hex code says it's ram but my ram is fine - vista just hated computers

One thing with a PC that expensive I would have upgrade the Guranete to Atleast silver so it come with a Year Return to Base instead of the basic 1 month!

But apart from that great spec PC, Bet that will kill anything you throw at it.

Got my PC as expected, have been really busy so I barely used it. I just noticed the CPU speed says 3.5GHz, how do I check the speed of an overclocked CPU?

It will only go above the stock clock speed when it's needed, ie. it doesn't stay at overclocked speeds all the time.
So you need to run something CPU intensive and then find out what speed its running at :)

As AshleyUK says, I would phone PCS and ask to pay £5 to upgrade to the silver warranty/guarantee. That gives you 1 year collect and deliver instead of the 1 month you currently have (unless you've done so already). Hopefully it will not be needed, but for a fiver, you can sleep easy :)
