Clevo driver for Windows 7

Clevo drivers for Windows 7

I was looking to buy a laptop (finally) and went on the Clevo website to check the driver support. It seems they have NO Windows 7 drivers.

Does this mean unless I buy Windows 8 I can't use the laptop?

If you order windows 7 PCS will install the drivers for you. I am using Windows 7 without any issues in a clevo laptop.

OK, that's somewhat reassuring but I have a my own Windows 7 copy. I presume they send you the drivers with the laptop.

Yes you do. I got a CD and a usb stick with drivers. Browsing the driver list of the USB there are Win7 and Win8 drivers , the driver lists of the CD only has Win8 drivers.

Very important piece of info for me here (I was planning to call on Monday to double-check), as I won't be getting a disk reader (just as you did). You've really helped a lot, Keynes :D. Thanks once again.

All I've got to decide on is whether I want this babe fast-tracked, so I have it by next Thursday.

Yeah was wondering the same as I got my Windows 7 licence. Good to know they also provide through USB stick too ! Great support. Just waiting for the computer now ! xD
