Chromium-based web browsers and privacy

Hi,

I am just wondering what different opinions that there are in relation to Chromium-based web browsers.

As I already use Brave as my web browser - what good alternatives are there to a browser like Brave? I know that there is the new Microsoft Edge based on Chromium and an alternative to Google Chrome, which is more privacy focused called SRWare Iron.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, please.

There are a ton of privacy-based browsers based on Chromium, it depends on whether you trust their authors or not. I have run SRWare Iron, but as I understand it that's supported by one guy (probably from his bedroom). Should I trust him, or not?

I too use Brave, partly because it's very much privacy focused, but also because it's open source: https://www.askcybersecurity.com/what-is-brave-browser/.
