Checking your specification...

Recently I've been wanting to upgrade my computer but whenever I do I keep getting an error message:

Checking your specification... [Your specification failed our initial checks.]

We've checked your specification for compatibility. Please see our suggestions below:

The graphics card you have selected is a performance graphics card, and it occupies 3 slots on your motherboard. Unfortunately this means that you have one less PCI-E slot available, giving you a total of 0 PCI-E slots.

You have currently selected 1 PCI-E devices:

DUAL-BAND WIRELESS 802.11N 450Mbps PCI-E CARD

Please reduce the selection to 0 PCI-E devices, or alternatively select a lower performance graphics card that occupies only one slot.

If you would like any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0333 011 7000.

I've been wanting to get the GTX 780 Ti, a new hard drive and a bit more RAM but even without selecting the graphics card option I've been getting the same error message.

My case, ETC:

COOLERMASTER HAF 922 MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770 (3.4GHz) 8MB Cache
Motherboard ASUS® P8Z77-V: PCI-E 3.0 READY, WIFI, SLI, CROSSFIREX
Memory (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 4GB KIT)
Graphics Card 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 670 - 2 DVI, HDMI, DP - 3D Vision Ready

Wondering what I should do now so I thought I'd ask the forum for help/opinion first.

PSU: CORSAIR 850W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX850 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE

I have called and there seems to be a problem with the position of my Wireless network card. (DUAL-BAND WIRELESS 802.11N 450Mbps PCI-E CARD)

Apparently I have to move the network card to a lower slot but it looks strange because the slot its in currently is about 1 inch in size, (WiFi Go! PCIEX1_1) whereas the slot I'll be moving the network card to is a light blue slot about 4-5 inches long.

The guys at PCSpecialist have said that it'd work and if not then I can just switch to the wireless facility inbuilt on the motherboard anyway.

Another odd thing about it is that even when I didn't select the graphics card for upgrading, my old graphics card gave the same error message. :S

Hope there arn't any problems with the upgrade, bit excited to see how it'll all pan out now if I'm honest. (Ordered the components over the phone, website wouldn't allow me to proceed)

I don't think homeplugs are a feasible option in my case.

*Edit* Installed and updated my new graphics card, no problems! :euro:
