This computer will be used for Gaming only. Budget £1600ish give or take a couple of ££. First time buying a Gaming PC - want to make sure all the parts will be compatible. Got a 1440p 144hz monitor. Open to any suggestions.

I went for savings in a few components without too much compromise, I do like the X570 motherboard option though and think it's worth the cost

Thanks!! This looks great - couple of questions if you don’t mind as I’m new to this - why the 850 power supply and any reason for 2 lots of ssd storage?

Yeah first off 850W PSU allows the PSU room to breathe basically so it's not running at 100% all the time and effectively reducing it's lifespan, this will give it longevity but more importantly it gives you a lot of room for upgrades and for adding components in the future

Secondly on the two storage drives, one is for the operating system and one for everything else. Basically this allows you to install, remove, change and update your OS without any risk to any other files on the system. Less worry about losing important information if it's on a drive that's only really used for storage

Plus the M2 drive for the OS is a hell of a lot faster which lets the OS run lightening quick

I've gone for a build closer to your £1600 budget. The main changes over @Steveyg 's build is a case that should be better for airflow. I've also changed the boot SSD for a faster drive and added a 2nd SSD for all your games. 1TB is tonnes so could be changed down to 512gb if you don't feel 1TB is necessary.
