Check this spec please (high end gaming)

Hi All,

So I've just done exactly what the sticky said and bought a custom desktop without checking on here first (to be honest) I didn't know that this was available. I want it for high end gaming but am thinking that maybe I need a different motherboard now?

Can you advise?

Thanks, I'm going to be upgrading my monitor so i want some room for that, currently using a 1080p monitor but should consider the this PC will be linked up to a better monitor in the near future so don't put too much stock in that.

£1900 tops but would rather keep to the £1700 I've currently spent.

No other uses high end gaming, perhaps some photography if I ever get around to learning.

I'm going to make the same suggestion I seem to keep making in these threads, but check out this review build: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/configure-review/348/. You can't customise the internals but that's offset by the fact you're getting a big discount over what you'd pay if you put the same parts together yourself.

EDIT: Just make sure you add the Silver warranty!
