Cheaper after purchase

Hey guys, I just bought a tower a couple of days ago, after a friend recommending a change I noticed the graphics card nvidia geforce 770, is now cheaper! whats the best way to go about this? cancel my order and do it again with the cheaper product, or contact the company and ask for the difference to be refunded?

Prices go up and down all the time, and with the release for the 900 cards the 700's got dropped in price. Although, the 700's would only have been dropped in price when the current stock was used and the new cheaper stock had been delivered.

The price is final I believe, but no harm in ringing PCS and trying. If you cancel and re-order that will set up back and I am not sure if that incurs some cost depending on where your order is in the process.
Give them a ring, see what they say. But everyone has similar issues as prices go up and down all the time.

If prices go up PCS wouldn't contact you to ask for the difference though. If the price difference is significant it is tempting to cancel your order and re-order but it could involve waiting longer.

That's true but my order probably wasn't even started and it was in the process of being reduced. I contacted live support and they were kind enough to give me the difference. I wouldn't of bothered had it only been a couple quid haha.

For anyone interested, no fees are payable for cancelling an order unless it has went into building. So anyone in a similar position could cancel and re order at the cheaper price if the call centre wont reduce the rate. Only penalty is going back to beginning of the list for building.
